I’ve been kind of public about how difficult I found archery during these “unprecedented” times. But one part I enjoyed with all of my heart was helping my friend, archery coach and now filmmaker, John Nyberg tell this story.
John came out to the house and filmed me practising. He followed us around at Buckeye and USA Archery Nationals. We talked for hours about what archery meant to us and how we came to these points in our lives.
This experience of making this movie echoes exactly what this movie is about. I may not make the podium at the big events, but I have won so much from my time behind the bow. So many friends, so much support, so many good times in amazing places I never would have visited on my own.
Archery changed my life, and I am so happy to share this film showing how.
